Kraig McNutt, Civil War history blogger will present "New Albany's Civil War Hospitals"
7pm Tuesday November 23rd in the Elsa Strassweg Auditorium,
of the New Albany-Floyd County Public Library at 180 West Spring Street.
Kraig has won the praise of professional historians and the admiration of many fans for his investigations. He runs the largest Civil War history page on Facebook.
His research extends not only to the great deeds of the Civil War, but into his own family.
He is the descendant of several Union veterans.
Masks and/or Vaccinations are highly recommended

Join the Historical Society in February 2022 for a presentation about the Floyd County Poor Farm.
This is Our Community is given to all third graders in the county and is used to satisfy the Indiana History course requirement for all students in private, parochial, and public schools.
The 2021 version has been distributed to the schools! Above all, we need donations to cover printing costs. Editorial comments are welcome.
Bob Sterrett will talk about some DNA concepts and genealogy.
