March Meeting -- PROGRAM CHANGE!
Joe Glover, currently serving as Interim Vice Chancellor of Advancement, Alumni, and External Affairs at IU Southeast, will present
"50 Years of IU Southeast Grenadier Athletics in Southern Indiana"
Joe previously served as Director of Athletics at IU Southeast for 11 years.
Joe is a lifelong resident of New Albany, graduating from New Albany High School in 2004.
He holds a B.S. in Business Marketing, along with a M.B.A. from the IU Southeast School of Business.

April Meeting
Dr. Curtis Peters, Museum Board Chair, retired IUS Professor, will present,
will present "The Preservation of New Albany's Fire Apparatus"

Tuesday, April 26th, 7:00pm   on-site at the VINTAGE FIRE MUSEUM, 706 Spring Street, JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA.



Padgett Museum CLOSED for the Winter!
The Padgett Museum operated by the Floyd County Historical Society, located at 509 West Market Street, New Albany, Indiana, is closed for the winter.
Re-opening May 14th 2022.  Visits until then by appointment.

Masks and Vaccinations are highly recommended.

Our Community 2021

This is Our Community is given to all third graders in the county and is used to satisfy the Indiana History course requirement for all students in private, parochial, and public schools.

The 2021 version has been distributed to the schools!  Editorial and financial support for the 2022 version are welcome.

Dr. Lee Pennington, President of the Ancient Kentucke Historical Association will present the "Burrows Cave: Mystery of the Ages" and its history following its reported discovery by Russell Burrows in 1982.
